When I started this therapy journey, I was sad, broken, depressed, and lonely. I didn’t see myself as one deserving or capable of love and I was constantly wondering why persons who I held dear kept leaving me or doing me “dirty”.
I saw the world as a place where I didn’t belong and at one point didn’t want to be a part of it anymore.
I could not see my worth, my value, my perfection.
Through therapy, I put in the work to discover who I am and who I can be ….
Today, I am happy, more joyful and satisfied with who I am as a person. I am learning to accept my flaws and figure out ways that I can better myself.
The only thing I would change about myself is nothing. I love me – the good, bad, and in between.
I know that there is always room for improvement, and I will continue to improve my emotional, mental, and physical self, as I know life is a process, not a race to the finish line and one day I know I will be completely content and satisfied with myself.
I am perfect with my imperfections!
